Explore the Taxes Works view

When your profile includes the Taxes module then it will be visible in the Main Menu and you will have full visibility of the Works and Work Fee Payments views.  Tax work that has been added will be visible and searchable in the Works view within CompleteEmpire.

From this view new tax work can be added, work can be edited and viewed in detail. The search panel is used to filter work using a number of applicable criteria. At least one of those criteria needs to be selected.

  1. From the Main Menu click {Taxes} < {Works}  -  to open the tax Works view.
  2. Tax Works  -  Works Area Header.
  3. Tax Works  -  Works Area Quick button group.
  4. Search Panel  -  Opens automatically when the Works view is selected.
  1. [View Summary]  -  Opens the highlighted tax work in the tax Works Summary view.
  2. [Create New]   -   Opens the New Works (tax) window.
  3. [Edit]  -  Opens the highlighted work in the tax Works Edit view.
  4. [Bin]  -  Deletes the highlighted work. Opens a confirmation window  "The work will be permanently deleted. Are you sure?" [Yes]/[No].
  5. [Refresh]  -  Refresh the displayed screen to review changes. 
  1. The Advanced Search Bar is automatically opens in the tax Works view.
  2. Use [Right Close Arrow] a grey icon to the left of the Search Panel header to close the Search Panel.
  3. Enter search criteria as required. At least one search field criteria must be selected or entered to enable the database search.
  4. Clear the search fields clicking [Clear Search] or the Clear Search link at top right.
  1. The Advanced Search Bar is automatically opens in the Taxes Works view. Close using the [Right Close Arrow] a grey icon to the left of the Search Panel header.
  2. Grid headings are interactive and can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking once. The column which has been sorted will be marked with an arrow – up for ascending and down for descending.
  3. The grid column titles can also be sorted by clicking on the (ellipses) three dots to the right of the title.
  4. A drop-down box appears and the user can also choose to remove or add column headings to change the grid view.
  5. Columns can be reordered by clicking and holding down the mouse on the grid title and dragging it into its new position. Column widths can be adjusted by clicking and dragging the vertical border of the grid title.
