The Finances Edit view details the current status of the work and allows creation and editing of all aspects of the work for the client account. Documents associated with the account and work are available as well and can be quickly added or edited. The current status of the work can be updated quickly from this view.
- Use the breadcrumbs in the Work Area header to track the account being worked on and the current status.
- Work Area Summary Header - summarises your current work for the account.
- Work Area Summary Menu - provides a bookmark to quickly access further work panels or windows.
- Work Area - your main area of work comprising several panels or windows.
- [Save] - use to save any changes in each window you can also use the [Save] "floppy disc" icon at the top right of each window.
Work Area Summary Header
- Finance Summary - key details about the account and the work including the institution and finance required as well as the current status.
- [Actions] - quick access to Client Opt-in and portal access; create new Contact Logs and DocuSign forms, viewing and sending invoices. Creating a Split Loan, opening the Fact Find or viewing linked API logs.
- Split Loan indicator and [Previous Split]/[Next Split]. Note these buttons only presents if the loan has been split.
- [Summary] - quickly open the Summary view for the Finance work..

- Current Status and last update and by whom.
- Indicates appointments set and click to create new appointment.
- [Change Status] - click to open a drop down list which depending on work done can be used to advance the work.
- Details of the person processing the work. This is ordinarily pre-filled from the Opportunity.
- Enter details of the finance required, proposed lender and related information.
- Enter details related the commission payments.
- Enter details of any fees chargeable to the client.
- Notes - add appropriate notes to the current work, all notes are timestamped for audit and compliance purposes.
- Is the record marked as deleted? - reference for internal use.
- [Save] - click to save any changes, button also available at the top right of the Details panel.

- History window - use the filter buttons to quickly review the clients interaction with the business
- Reassign tab - used to reassign the works in case of error or for example client separation and work has already been undertaken.
- Edit Account tab - opens a window to quickly edit the clients account details.
- Edit Client tab - opens a window to update the clients activity work Creation Date
- Client Codes tab - opens a window to enter client codes with respect to external applications such as . These codes link your clients to the external systems. Refer to your system administrator for more details.
- Unsubscribe Options tab - opens window to edit email consent permissions.
Contact Logs - view Contact Logs relevant to and relating to this work.
- [Create New] - create a new contact log.
Opportunities - lists opportunities created as a result of the current work.
- [Notify] - click to create a notification for the highlighted opportunity.
- [View Summary] - opens the summary view of the highlighted opportunity, also double click or click on small arrow to left of the opportunity in the grid.
- [Create New] - create a new opportunity directly from the work which automatically links contacts logs from your current work to the opportunity.
- [Edit] - opens the edit view of the opportunity.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted opportunity. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
Work Allocations - lists the financial planner and shared work fees
- [Create New] - create a new shared work allocation entry line.
- [Save] - after adding the shared work allocation click to save.
- [Edit] - opens the Edit view to quickly edit the work allocation details.
- [Delete] - click to delete the work allocation entry.
Interest Rates - lists interest rates for the clients loans.
- [Create New] - click to add a new line entry.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted selected line entry.
- [Save] - click to save the new entry.
- [Edit] - click to edit a saved interest rate entry.
- [Delete] - click to delete the selected line entry.
Securities - lists security used for the loans current and past.
- [Any/Current/Sold] - click to filter the list view.
- [Create New] - click to create a new security line entry.
- [Edit] - click to edit the highlights security line entry
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted security. [Yes/No] confirmation required.
- Tick boxes to select if the security is used to service a loan or is now released.
- [Apply Changes] - apply and save the changes to the client account
- Click the arrow to open a the detailed edit view.
Conditions - lists conditions for the loan.
- [Create New] - click to create a new loan condition line entry
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted entry. [Yes/No] confirmation needed.
- {Select the type} - select from the drop down list.
- [Save] - click to save the entry. or click [Edit] to edit the highlighted entry.
Disbursement Schedules - lists the loan disbursement schedules.
- [Create New] - click to create a new loan condition, opens a entry line.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted entry. [Yes/No] confirmation needed.
- {Select the type} - select from the drop down list.
- [Save] - click to save the entry. or click [Edit] to edit the highlighted entry.
Commissions - enter and list commissions including split commissions generated from the finance work.
- [Create New] - create a new commission payment.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted commission.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted commission. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Click the down arrow to open the details view of for the commissions.
Contacts - with finance work associated with the account there may be third parties who will be involved in the preparation of the work for the client account. The Contacts section allows for their details to be recorded in one place and to be associated with the work.
- [Create New] - create a new contact.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted contact.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted contact. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Click the down arrow to open the details view of for the contacts.
All finance work documents related to the current work will be visible here and are included in this view. Import and add, drag and drop , search and link and attach.
To add documents to the work there are three options:-
- [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
- Drag and drop into the marked box or...
- Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.
To search within the attached documents:-
- Search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
- Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
- [Search] - to search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
- [Clear Search] - to clear the search criteria, text and tags.
- Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
- List or Grid view.
