The Financial Planning Edit view details the current status of the work and allows creation and editing of all aspects of the work for the client account. Documents associated with the account and work are available as well and can be quickly added or edited. The current status of the work can be updated quickly from this view.
- Use the breadcrumbs in the Work Area header to track the account being worked on and the current status.
- Work Area Summary Header - summarises your current work for the account.
- Work Area Summary Menu - provides a bookmark to quickly access further work panels or windows.
- Work Area - your main area of work comprising several panels or windows.
- [Save] - use to save any changes in each window you can also use the [Save] "floppy disc" icon at the top right of each window.
Work Area Summary Header
- Finance Planning Summary - key details about the account and the work including the FP business and planner name, type of work and the current status.
- [Actions] - quick access to Client Opt-in and portal access; create new Contact Logs and DocuSign forms, viewing and sending invoices.Opening the Fact Find or viewing and sending an invoice/receipts.
- [Summary] button - quickly open the Summary view for the Finance work.

- Current Status and last update and by whom.
- Indicates appointments arranged, click to create a new appointment.
- [Change Status] - click to open a drop down list which depending on work done can be used to advance the work.
- Details of the person processing the work. This is ordinarily pre-filled from the Opportunity.
- Enter details of the work fees and status of fees and renewals.
- Tick boxes.
- Enter details for the invoice and receipt email content when communicating with the client.
- Notes - add appropriate notes to the current work, all notes are timestamped for audit and compliance purposes.
- [Save] - click to save any changes, button also available at the top right of the Details panel.
- Client information
- History window - use the filter buttons to quickly review the clients interaction with the business
- Reassign tab - used to reassign the works in case of error or for example client separation and work has already been undertaken.
- Edit Account tab - opens a window to quickly edit the clients account details.
- Edit Client tab - opens a window to update the clients activity work Creation Date
- Client Codes tab - opens a window to enter client codes with respect to external applications such as . These codes link your clients to the external systems. Refer to your system administrator for more details.
- Unsubscribe Options tab - opens window to edit email consent permissions.
- Contact Logs - view Contact Logs relevant to and relating to this work.
- [Create New] - create a new contact log.
- Opportunities - lists opportunities created as a result of the current work.
- [Notify] - click to create a notification for the highlighted opportunity.
- [View Summary] - opens the summary view of the highlighted opportunity, also double click or click on small arrow to left of the opportunity in the grid.
- [Create New] - create a new opportunity directly from the work which automatically links contacts logs from your current work to the opportunity.
- [Edit] - opens the edit view of the opportunity.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted opportunity. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Work Allocations - enter and list shared work fees which must match the total work fee.
- [Create New] - create a new shared work allocation.
- [Edit] - edit the work allocation.
- [Delete] - delete the work allocation. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Disbursements can be used to add expenses attributable to the clients account such as legal or third party advice fees.
- [Create New] - create anew disbursement.
- [Save], [Edit] or [Delete] disbursements.
- Insurances - enter and lists insurance that the client wants or has.
- Assign Owners(s) - Change ownership of the policy.
- [Create New] - create a new insurance policy.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted insurance policy.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted insurance policy. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Financial Investments - enter and lists financial investments that the client has.
- Assign Owners(s) - Change ownership of the financial investments.
- [Create New] - create a new financial investments.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted financial investments.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted financial investments. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Lifestyle Investments - enter and lists lifestyle investments that the client has.
- Assign Owners(s) - Change ownership of the lifestyle investment.
- [Create New] - create a new lifestyle investment.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted lifestyle investment.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted lifestyle investment. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Superannuations - enter and lists super funds that the client has.
- Assign Owners(s) - Change ownership of the super funds.
- [Create New] - create a new super fund.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted super fund.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted super fund. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Liabilities - enter and list liabilities that the client has.
- Assign Owners(s) - Change ownership of the liability.
- [Create New] - create a new liability.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted liability.

- Owned Properties - enter and list owned properties. Click to filter [Any], [Current] and [Sold].
- [Create New] - create a new owned property.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted owned property.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted property. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
- Contacts - with finance work associated with the account there may be third parties who will be involved in the preparation of the work for the client account. The Contacts section allows for their details to be recorded in one place and to be associated with the work.
- [Create New] - create a new contact.
- [Edit] - edit the highlighted contact.
- [Delete] - delete the highlighted contact. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.
All finance planning work documents related to the current work will be visible here and are included in this view. Import and add, drag and drop , search and link and attach.
To add documents to the work there are four options:-
- [Attach Document(s) from DMS] - to open a new window to browse the DMS.
- [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
- Drag and drop into the marked box or...
- Click on [External Upload Setup - Status: Disabled] - to open the External Upload Setup window. Note that a Red icon indicates the link is disabled. Green icon indicates the link is enabled. See DMS External Upload
To search within the attached documents:-
- Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.
- Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
- [Filter by Externally Uploaded Documents] - to search within documents that have been attached by the client.
- [Search] and [Clear Search] - to search and clear the search criteria, text and tags.
- Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
