The Dashboard
Your dashboard is your home screen and can be used to present important information in a simple and customisable layout. It can be a snapshot of your work and a reference for the days ahead. It can show your performance metrics, your to-do task list, your appointments. There are a multitude of pre-set widgets and screen layouts to choose from. You also have the choice of setting up different ‘views’ for your dashboard. This might be useful if you have multiple job functions within the business, for example.
Open the Theme Settings Panel
- Select Dashboard View by selecting Dashboard from the Main Menu.
- Open the Theme Settings slide out panel by clicking the blue [Open] left arrow icon on the right hand side of the Work Area Quick buttons. Three tabs will be presented Widgets, Layouts and Views.
Creating a new/customised View
- Select the Views tab.
- Type in a name for your new view.
- Click [Create Empty] button to create a empty view. This is a view with no configuration.
- Click the [Create Using System Default] button to create a view based on the system default layout.
- Click the [Create Using the Current View (Clone)] button to clone the current selected view. Note the current view with the star icon after the view name is cloned.
Using the three buttons within the ‘Create View’ window, you can create a completely new view, create a view using the system default layout, or create a view by cloning an existing view. Cloning an existing view can be useful if you only want to make a few changes to an existing view template.
Updating a dashboard view will minimise the right-side menu bar automatically and refresh the screen.
Deleting a View
- Select the Views tab.
- If required click [View] after selecting the View to delete from the list below.
- Click [Delete]
- Confirm [Yes/No] to delete the selected view.
