We value your feedback and encourage you to use [Bug] button visible on every view within CompleteEmpire to provide your feedback to the development team.
Find the [Bug] button at the bottom right of your screen.
Use the [Bug] to report any bugs, bright ideas you may have, how to questions on usage, new feature requests or ideas for new widgets. This is the quickest way to correspond with the development team however you can also speak to your client services representative regarding any urgent issues.
- Location of the BUG icon - click to open the Feedback window.
Feedback window
- Type - Select Bug, How to Questions, New Feature requests or Widget Ideas.
- Subject - Type in subject of report.
- Description - Try and be a informative as possible and describe exactly what you where doing at the time of an event if reporting a bug.
- Priority - Indicate your priority for response and action. Critical, High, Medium, Low.
- Capture Screen - Use the capture button to take a screen grab of the event, messages etc. It grabs the window behind the Feedback window.
It is always best to take a screen shot to assist the development team in their analysis. The Screen grab captures the window behind the Feedback window. No need to move the Feedback window out of the way or to select a capture area.
- Please provide a detailed description on the nature of the issue, steps to reproduce, and expected/actual outcomes. For example, please provide specified filters if it is a reporting issue.
- A single sentence in the Subject line is not enough, the team spend too much time working out what your issue is rather than diagnosing the problem.
- We understand that it adds extra administration on your behalf however we cannot fix bugs that we do not understand or are unable to reproduce.
Entering Feedback
- Type - select from drop down list the type of feedback. {Bright Ideas} {Bug} {How to Questions} {New Feature} {Widget Ideas}
- Subject - give the report a descriptive subject that reflects the issue.
- Description - take the time to enter as much information as possible but in a clear and succinct manner. If required take a screen shot and paste into the message window.
- Priority - select from drop down list the priority status you feel best matches the issue.
- [Capture Screen] - click to capture the CompleteEmpire window behind the Feedback window.
- [OK] - To save report and send to the development team.
Alternatively to the full window capture you can also capture and paste a screen image into the Description box. Pressing the S key + Windows logo + Shift keys down initiates the snipping bar at any time. Select the area of the screen to capture and use Ctrl V or right click Paste to paste into the Description field adding any comments as necessary.

You can edit your submission, asked for more details by the development team and check on the answers the development team have given and then proceed to accept and verify the resolution provided.
