Step 1: Lookups
Before any further action is taken review the standard set of Lookup tables that come with the subscription and if necessary edit to suit your business requirements or practices.
CompleteEmpire provides you total control over how you would like to arrange your data, work processes and filtering.
This is done through a series of reference tables, called “Lookups”. You can find these under the System Tab on the left hand side menu bar.
CompleteEmpire provides a basic set of standard information as a guide, but you can add and expand as you see fit to customise to your operations and preferences.

Step 2: Offices and Branches
For your main operations, you will need to add any operating locations under your main company account.
This allows you to allocate staff to various locations for reporting and management purposes as well as control their visibility of information.
It is important to do this before you add your staff, so they can be appropriately attached to their office of operation correctly when establishing their approved activities. How to add operating locations
Step 3: Agencies: Internal and External
For all sales activity, you will need to set up a new account for each business unit that is selling on your behalf.
To do this, create a new Account for each Sales Agency entering in their relevant information. You can also create an Entity & log in at the same time if you wish or attend to this later. Setting up a new business unit account
Step 4: Staff Accounts, Activities and Office Locations
CompleteEmpire provides sales teams and management with a structured and easy to use sales process management system.
Behind the scenes is a matrix of authorities that limit users to permitted tasks, visibility and access to ensure that they can perform their role fully, yet not breach any internal security or management protocols.
For you initial set up, and on adding any new staff, there is simple process to follow to quickly and easily getting them operational and accountable.
CompleteEmpire differentiates between the various roles and activities that staff may have in our organisation. You can see the full list of activities and functionality through the Reports area under the System section.
Whilst you can add and edit activities as a general manager or administrator level, to allow login access will require you to be logged in as System Administrator.
How to Add and Edit an Employees Account Activity
When adding a new activity, first select the Operating Locations relevant to the employee as this will limit their visibility and functionality to those selected.
Then select the Authorisations tab to select the appropriate Authorisations Groups available for the selected Activity.
Step 5: Activities Developers, Sales, Syndicates
Complete Empire offers a powerful system to manage the sales and stock availability of any projects you manage and sell.
For each Project or Syndicate, a Developer should be assigned, so prior to entering any developments, it is important that you establish the Developer Account first.
If you are the Developer, then simply ensure you add the Activity “Developer” to your master account through the Edit function of your account.
If you deal with external Developers, simply add a new account for each developer and enter their details, whilst also selecting “Developer” as an activity.
This will ensure they are available to be selected as the Developer of any project that is entered into the system belonging to them.
Going through the above process and becoming familiar with the Lookups and set up protocols will be easier with regular usage.
CompleteEmpire will always be available for support and training if required and the KnowledgeBase will updated when upgrades and enhancements are applied.
