Exploring the Product Edit View

Products can be added to the Product Sales module within CompleteEmpire and are visible using the products summary and edit view. From the edit view, products can be edited and viewed in detail.

To edit a product.

  1. Main Menu click {Product Sales}>{Products}
  2. Select the product from the list to edit.
  1. Products Work Area Summary Header  -  Summaries the product and product type
  2. Product Work Area Menus  -  Shortcuts to the relevant area of interest within the work area.
  3. Quick Action button group.

Documents
Lists attached documents for the current product with search and filter options
Expand or collapse content Details
  1. Product name - Product name, number,  category , market type details
  2. Product Brief - Short summary for the product.
  3. Product Description - Detailed breakdown of the product, product use and all relevant safety information.
  4. Enter in provided fields the relevant details for min/max order qty, selling unit type, shipping method/rate. These are configured within Lookups by your administrator
  5. Set an email address to be notified when a online purchase is made.
  6. tick boxes to update the product status/type
  7. Notes - Any notes to the specific product. These notes are not published to a linked web site.
  8. [Save] to save any changes made above.
Expand or collapse content Prices
  1. [Create New] - add a new product price, start and end dates.
  2. [Edit] - edit an existing price line entry.
  3. [Delete] - delete the price line entry.
Expand or collapse content Packaging & Units
  1. Enter the product base unit of measure.
  2. Enter the product base packaging type or units.
  3. [Save] to save any changes made above
Expand or collapse content Unit Conversions
  1. [Create New] - add a new product unit conversion. This converts retail units to shipping carton and vv. Can be set up to match your specific needs withing Lookups.
  2. [Edit] - edit an existing conversion line entry.
  3. [Delete] - delete the conversion line entry.

  1. [Create New] - add a new product composition (applicable in a production environment to manage component materials) Can be set up to match your specific needs within Lookups.
  2. [Edit] - edit an existing composition line entry.
  3. [Delete] - delete the composition line entry.

  1. Add images to the property profile. Drag and drop your property images to upload.
  2. Select files from your computer to upload.

To add documents to the work there are three options:-

  1. [Attach Documents(s) from the DMS]
  2. [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
  3. Drag and drop into the marked box
  4. Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.
  5. To search within the attached documents:-
  6. Search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  7. Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
  8. [Search] - to search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  9. [Clear Search] to clear the search criteria, text and tags.
  10. Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
