How to find your way around

CompleteEmpire presents a clean and consistent screen layout that is intended to be intuitive and dynamic.

Throughout the CompleteEmpire Knowledge Base the following standard descriptors will be used to reference areas of the screen

Note that your the screen will depend on your user account login credentials and the access you have to the many available work modules within the CompleteEmpire ecosystem.

# Area Brief Description
1 Main Header Always present incorporates your company logo, super search, alerts and account details.
2 Main Menu Key navigation tool within CompleteEmpire, quickly accessible when needed.
3 Work Area Header Also known as the breadcrumb panel for navigation and Work Area Quick buttons.
4 Work Area Quick buttons Quick access buttons that are ever present to help you with your work flow
5 Work Area Dependent on work activity.
6 Work Area Panel Quick Access buttons Powerful access in context of your current work area activity.
7 Footer Empire Software copyright and Privacy Statement. Can be hidden if required.

1 Work Area Summary Header When present summarises your current work area activity.
2 Work Area Summary Menu When present provides quick access to further window and detail.
3 Work Area Dependent on work activity.
4 Work Area Panel Quick Access buttons Powerful access in context of your current work area activity.

Right hand panel - Search

# Area Brief Description
1 Search Panel Panel with a number of search fields.  The panel automatically opens in most views and can be closed/opened using the arrow icon. The entry fields may have a drop down list or may require a typed entry. Use the [Clear Search] button to remove search terms entered.   Note the search fields presented are change to match the context of the current work area.

Not all work views present a Search Panel and some Work Modules will present an alternate right hand slide out panel when the [Open Panel] blue arrow icon is clicked. For example:

  • Dashboard view the [Open Panel] blue arrow icon opens the Dashboard slide out panel.
  • Messages and Calendar view the [Open Panel] blue arrow icon opens the Mail/Calendar Import slide out panel.
  • Document Management (DMS) view the [Open Panel] blue arrow icon opens the Document Properties panel.

Right hand panel - Theme Options

When the blue COG wheel icon is clicked the Theme Options panel will open from the right.

1 Theme Settings Panel Panel that allows customisation of your screen and desktop.
