Navigating the Work Area Header

The Work Area Header is always visible to users of CompleteEmpire.

Work Area Header

  1. Work Area Header or it can also be sometimes referred to the breadcrumb bar.
  1. On the left hand side of the Work Area Header are the 'breadcrumbs' which shows you where they are within CompleteEmpire and lists the stages taken to get to the current screen - akin to leaving breadcrumbs to find the way back home.
  2. The right hand side of the Work Area Header are the Quick buttons.

Quick Buttons

  1. [Create New]  -  click to open a drop-down list containing options to create new accounts, contact logs, opportunities for example.
  2. [Compose Message]  -  click to open a new window for the user to send a quick message from within your CompleteEmpire subscription to . Option to send as an email to an external account. Refer to  Creating a new message or email from the Messages work area
  3. [New Appointment]  -  click to opens a new window to make an appointment. Refer to How to create a new appointment using Work Area Header Quick buttons

Messages can only be sent to accounts visible to your subscription. Click to send as an email to send to non subscription subscriber accounts.

Note the above drop down list includes all work modules. Your list is limited to the work modules relevant to your user log-in credentials.

Right-Side Panel Open/Close arrow icon

  1. Left Arrow Icon  -  the far right of the breadcrumb bar contains an left arrow icon (blue arrow above). Click on the right arrow icon to open the right-side menu panel * .
  2. Right Arrow Icon  -  complementary right arrow icon (grey icon above) to close the open panel.

* Note - the right side panels that slides out automatically (in some cases) or upon selection of the right arrow icon will be Work Module dependent. Examples include:-

  • Dashboard view the [Open Panel] opens the Dashboard slide out panel.
  • Messages and Calendar view the [Open Panel] opens the Mail/Calendar Import slide out panel.
  • Document Management System (DMS) view the [Open Panel] opens the Document Properties panel.
