Explore the Consulting edit view

The Consulting edit view details the current status of the work and allows creation and editing of all aspects of the work for the client account. Documents associated with the account and work are available as well and can be quickly added or edited. The current status of the work can be updated quickly from this view.

  1. Use the breadcrumbs in the Work Area header to track the account being worked on and the current status.
  2. Work Area Summary Header  -  summarises your current work for the account.
  3. Work Area Summary Menu  -  provides a bookmark to quickly access further work panels or windows.
  4. Work Area - your main area of work comprising several panels or windows.

Work Area Summary Header

  1. Consulting Summary  -  key details about the account and the work as well as the current status.
  2. [Actions]  -  quick access to
    • {Client} - Send Opt-in and Client Portal Access
    • {Create New} - Contact Logs and Documents
    • {Invoice} - {View} and {Send}
    • {Receipts} -  {View} and {Send
    • {View Logs}
  3. [Summary]  -  quickly open the Summary view.

Work Area Summary Menu

  1. Consulting Summary Menu -  shortcuts to the relevant area of interest within the work area. Detailed explanation provided in the table and via the links below.

Work Flows
Workflow panel for tracking and visibility 
Details Account details relevant to the consultancy work
Client Client account details including visibility of the History using the filters, access to shortcuts to edit the account, configure client codes and unsubscribe options etc.
Contact Logs View Contact Logs relevant to the current work
Opportunities Opportunities created as a result of the current work, view, create, edit, delete
Work Allocations Allocation of work when the work is shared
Disbursements Costs associated with the work
Contacts  A place to add Contacts relevant  to the current consulting work for the client
Documents
Lists attached documents for the current work with search and filter options
Expand or collapse content Work Flows
  1. Current Status and last update and by whom.
  2. Indicates appointments set and click to create  new appointment.
  3. [Change Status]  -  click to open a drop down list which depending on work done can be used to advance the work.

  1. Details of the person undertaking the work. Referral information and type of work.
  2. Enter details of the service fees, invoice and receipt details and payments received.
  3. Notes  -  add appropriate notes to the current work, all notes are timestamped for audit and compliance purposes.
  4. Is the record marked as deleted?  -  reference for internal use.
  5. [Save]  - click to save any changes, button also available at the top right of the Details panel.

  1. Client information
  2. History window  -  use the filter buttons to quickly review the clients interaction with the business
  3. Reassign tab  -  used to reassign the works in case of error or for example client separation and work has already been undertaken.
  4. Edit Account tab  -  opens a window to quickly edit the clients account details.
  5. Edit Client tab  -  opens a window to update the clients active work Creation Date.
  6. Enable Client Portal Access - configure remote portal access for the client.
  7. Required Documents - click to add documents that are essential for the work activity.
  8. Client Codes - configure third party API access.
  9. Send Opt-in  - send a manual request a email to opt-in (agree) to client subscriptions.

Contact Logs  -  view Contact Logs relevant to and relating to this work.

  1. [Create New]  - create a new contact log.

Opportunities  -  lists opportunities created as a result of the current work.

  1. [Notify]  - click to create a notification for the highlighted opportunity.
  2. [View Summary]  -  opens the summary view of the highlighted opportunity, also double click or click on small arrow to left of the opportunity in the grid.
  3. [Create New]  -  create a new opportunity directly from the work which automatically links contacts logs from your current work to the opportunity.
  4. [Edit]  -  opens the edit view of the opportunity.
  5. [Delete]  - delete the highlighted opportunity. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.

Work Allocations  -  enter and list shared work.

  1. [Create New]  -  create a new work allocation for the account.
  2. [Refresh]  -  refresh the current view after changes.
  3. [Edit]  -  edit the highlighted allocation.
  4. [Delete]  -  delete the highlighted allocation. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.

Disbursements  -  add and enter expenses to be allocated to the work.

  1. [Create New]  -  create a new disbursement for the work.
  2. [Edit]  -  edit the highlighted disbursment.
  3. [Delete]  -  delete the highlighted disbursement. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.

Contacts   -  with consultancy work there may be third parties who will be involved in the work for client account. Contacts lists their details to be recorded in one place and to be associated with the work.

  1. [Create New]  -  add a new contact. Contact must have been added to the CRM previously. See How to Create a New Account and Adding Relationships
  2. [Edit]  -  edit the highlighted contact.
  3. [Delete]  -  delete the highlighted contact. Confirmation [Yes/No] required.

All documents related to the current work will be visible here and are included in this view. Import and add, drag and drop , search and link and attach.

To add documents there are three options:-

  1. [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
  2. Drag and drop into the marked box or...
  3. Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.
  4. Search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  5. Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
  6. Search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  7. Clear the search criteria, text and tags.
  8. Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
