When the work have been completed and your are ready to send the client their invoice and, after payment their receipt, this can be be generated, reviewed and sent and an attachment to a email.
- From the Work view for the client click [Actions] to open the drop down menu.
- Click {Invoice} to expand the drop down menu.
- Click {View} to view the Invoice as a PDF document.
- Check that the details are correct and if satisfied that the Invoice is in order, proceed to click {Send}.
The clients Invoice will be sent as an attachment to an email. The Work Description header text and Invoice Description body text will be as per the details you entered in the Edit View Details section. Standard text can be added in the pre-prepared Tax Invoice template. Refer to your system administrator for details on how to set up your templates.
- Check the email details.
- Check Bcc is you wish to send a copy to the consultant.
- Click [Send] - your invoice will have been sent and the details updated on the account.
- If necessary the invoice can be viewed - click {View}
- If required the invoice can be resent - click {Resend}
- The work will be marked as 'Work Completed' in the Works view once payment has been received and Status should be 'Lodged'.
The Invoice/Receipt can be reviewed and retrieved at any time via the Works view. Once the return is lodged the date of creation is locked and there is the ability to view and resend if required. Consulting>Works>Client>Actions>Receipt<View
