Any document/file stored within the CompleteEmpire ecosystem can be assigned individual controls on visibility to subscription users, your client. related partners and your associates or co workers.
The main controls are;
Visibility - internal visibility of a document, only you as the author or everyone assigned to your subscription work activity.
Client - if your subscription has an active Client Portal then you can invite your client to access their documents via a external subscription login.
Public Domain - visibility to third parties and partners who have been given access to your subscription.
To allow a document to be visible to a client there are several options. For a client to view your subscription must have active Client Portal configured. Refer to your Subscription/CompleteEmpire Administration Manager.
The field can be set for an individual document through the document properties, or multiple documents can be selected and then made visible to the client action menu.
Within the work - Documents
- Within the Work module client account documents section right click the document(s) you wish to make visible client to open a dropdown list.
- Click {Visibility} - by default the document will be visible by anyone in your business, if they have access to the same work activity module. If the document is uploaded within an activity area then it is only visible within the activity area.
- {Make visible to the owner only} - this means it is private to you.
- {Make visible to everyone}- this means everyone within your work activity or authorised group such as a General Manager.
- Click {Client Visibility} - by default this is not visible. If you have a subscription with a Client Portal activated and you have authorised the client to view externally and they have accepted and verified their login credentials then this option is available.
- {Make visible to the client} - the client can view this document via their login.
- {Make invisible to the client} - removes client access to this document via their login. Default status.
- Click {Public Domain} - by default the document will not be visible to the public/third parties.
- {Make visible to the public} - means that related partners and associates who have access to your CompleteEmpire subscription can view the document.
- {Make invisible to the public} - removes related partners and associates access to this document. Default status.
Within the document Properties
