Remember that you have four points of entry where you can create timesheet entries.
- Contact Logs - when any client Contact Log is created for emails, file notes or contact records. An very effective way to record Opportunity and shorter time tasks like client queries.
- Work Status updates - any time the work flow status of the client file is updated you can enter the task and duration.
- Calendar - when making appointments
- Timesheet module - direct entry if any of the above do not cover or not entered by the above or you wish to edit a submitted timesheet.
It is important to remember that until you “Submit” your timesheet the time and any allocated costs or billable time will not be formally recorded against your work schedules.
Editing Timesheets
You must be in the Timesheets Module calendar view to review and edit your timesheet entries and to submit your confirmed entries to the CompleteEmpire Human Resource system.
Access via the Main Menu>{Timesheets}
- Right click on the entry to be edited.
- Select {Edit (Submitted)} to open the Edit Entry (Submitted) window.
- Update the relevant fields
- Click [Save] to save which will initiate a summary of the changes that you have just made and the question {Are you sure?}.
- Satisfied with the changes click [Confirm] to submit your new timesheet entry
Please be aware that changing submitted entries may affect existing invoices or receipts.
