Exploring the Opportunities view

The Opportunities View consists of the Opportunities Grid, and an Opportunity Advanced Search bar. The search bar opens automatically when the view is selected.

  1. In the Main Menu select Opportunities>Opportunities  -  opens the Opportunities View
  2. Grid Header.
  3. Opportunities View  -  Quick Access button group.
  4. Activity “Temperature” click to sort the filtered opportunities based on their status to assist you to identify and concentrate on the most relevant opportunities.
  5. Opportunities Advanced Search Bar. 

Work Area Panel  -  Quick Access button group.

  1. Sort by Activity “Temperature”  -  click to quickly add a opportunity status tag to assist you to identify and concentrate on the most relevant opportunities. Click to select Any, Hot, Warm and Cold.
  2. [View Summary]  - opens the Summary view of the selected opportunity in the grid.
  3. [Create New]  - opens the Create New Opportunity window.
  4. [Edit]  -  opens the selected opportunity Edit Summary view for editing the opportunity details.
  5. [Assign Opportunity Status]  -  opens a drop down status selection menu.
  6. [Advance to Enquiry]  -  opens a drop down menu to select the next step in progressing the opportunity.
  7. [Notify]  -  if there is a referred party then they can be notified of change of status - opens a message window.
  8. [Delete]  -  delete the highlighted opportunity.
  9. [Refresh]  - refresh the displayed view.  

Activity Status quick sort

  1. Sort the displayed opportunities by opportunity lead status, select Any, Hot, Warm or Cold to quickly highlight and concentrate on the opportunities listed in the Grid view. Lead status can be configured by your administrator to match your business practice using Lookups.

Opportunity Grid View Header

  1. Tick Box use to select all items listed in the grid view.
  2. Grid headings are interactive and can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking once. The column which has been sorted will be marked with an arrow – up for ascending and down for descending.
  3. The grid column titles can also be sorted by clicking on the three dots to the right of the title. A drop-down box appears and the user can also choose to remove or add column headings to change the grid view. Columns can be reordered by clicking and holding down the mouse on the grid title and dragging it into its new position.
  4. Column widths can be adjusted by clicking and dragging the vertical border of the grid title.
  1. The Advanced Search Bar is automatically opens in the Opportunity view but can be closed using the [Right Close Arrow] a grey icon to the left of the Search Panel header.
  2. The Search Bar offers a number of filters to assist in searching for relevant Opportunities.
  3. Additional filters can be accessed by clicking the grey down arrow which opens further filter folders.
