On line opportunity management has been improved with enhancements to the automation of responses.
Within the Opportunities Lookups the opportunity edit windows presents two tabs Details and Notifications. Additional options are available for automated notifications when website enquiries are received.
- Locate Lookups within the Main Menu - {System} > {Lookups}.
- Select Opportunity Types.
- Use [Edit] to select the Enquiry Type or [Create New] which will open a new window.
- Select the Notifications tab.
- Subject - enter a subject line for the email to the 'referred to' person. If left blank the Opportunity Type will be the subject. e.g in this case Property Sale
- Body - enter the body text you wish to personalise the email including adding the merge fields by selecting from the Merge Tags drop down list.
- Alert To - select from the drop down list the person who will receive the Alert and email when it comes in from online if left blank it will be an alert only in the notifications area of CompleteEmpire and not an email. You can type two or more characters of the name and select. Alert To is the same person as the referred by person selected when creating an opportunity manually.
- Enquiry Email - select a standard email template from the drop down list (assuming that the 'Notification" email has been already created by your administrator. The sender of the email will be the same person as selected for {Alert To} above.
- Notify To - select from the drop down list the person who will automatically receive the email. You can type two or more characters of the name and select. the person who received the email is the same person as the 'Referred To" person selected when creating an opportunity manually.
- {Would you like to CC the account?} - tick to select if you wish the lead email to be copied to the person making the enquiry.
- Click [Update] to save changes.
