Property management within CompleteEmpire is focused on managing the landlord and their related business activity within the context of finance, tax and investment propositions for the business. The capture of information related to the property is very important for all of the above and for future owners of the property or possible future property sale activities. Over time the history of the property can be a great asset to the business.
To add a property under management it is a requirement to create a new property management enquiry. To edit a properties details select the Properties view and click [Edit], use the Search Panel to find the property. Refer to Explore the Rental Property Edit View
- Click in Main menu Rentals>Managements to open the Managements view.
- Click [Create New] in the Management Quick action toolbar to open a New Rental Managements Enquiry window.
Or
- Click on [Create New] in the Quick Actions button group in the work area header and click {Rental Management Enquiry}
- Complete the Enquiry Details tab fields noting that those outline in red are mandatory.
- If the Landlord does not currently have an account then use the [Add New] + button to create a new account.
- Click [Next] to open the Property Details tab.
- Complete the Property Details tab fields noting that those outlined in red are mandatory.
- Before proceeding the question will be asked 'Is the unit part of a development?' if you had entered a Unit No in the Property Details tab.
- Click [Next] to open the Appointment tab.
- If the property is part of a development or multiple dwelling units then enter the developments name in the newly presented field. This will link other properties together in the same development and is a useful management tool.
- Click [Next] to open the Appointment tab.
- If you wish to create an appointment then tick the box and complete the appointments window.
- Click Finish to proceed to the Managements Edit view.
