Explore the Investor Edit View

The Investment Edit view allows you to edit and add all pertinent information relating to the selected investment and the investors details.

  1. Click {Syndicates} > {Investments} to view the Investment list view. Refer Explore the Investments view
  2. Use the Search Panel to filter and / or search for the investor.  
  3. Click [Edit] to open the Investment Edit view.

Account Summary view - header and menus are found on the left side of your work area.

  1. [Actions]  -  click to show options
    • {Create New} - Contact Log or a New Document from a template.
    • {Goto} - Open the associated syndicate or associated investment transaction.
    • {Statement} - view or send statement to the client.
    • {View Logs} - view linked external portal activity logs.
  2. To proceed to the Summary view you click the [Summary] button .
  3. Select the investment opportunity status - Hot, Warm or Cold. Use for ease of management of your work.

  1. Click [Change Status] to open the drop down menu.
  2. Click {status} to open the Change Status - window. Note use Lookups to customise to your business requirements.

Investment Details - displays all pertinent details of the investment.

  1. Click pen icon to open the Syndicate Edit view to update details.
  2. Enter and update as required the details of the investment.
  3. {Has the investment been confirmed?}  -  tick if investor has been accepted and confirmed.
  4. {Has the investment been paid out?} - click if the syndicate has been wound up.
  5. {Is this record marked as deleted?}  - click if you wish to archive the record.
  6. Click [Save] to save all changes to the details.

Investor - displays current information about the Investor and relationships to the business. Depending on your user login credentials the tabs in the heading may or may not be visible.

  1. To change account details click the pen icon to open the Accounts Edit view.
  2. Use the filters to view the account history related to the current work activity.
  3. Click [Reassign] to open a new window and change the investor. Example would be if original enquiry was attributed to a personal entity not to say a trust.
  4. Click [Edit Account] to open a new window and edit the investors account details.
  5. Click [Edit Investor] to open a new window and edit the investors activity details.
  6. Click [Unsubscribe Options] to  remove or enable consent to be contacted by email. Applicable to marketing communications.

Contact Logs - lists all contact logs.

  1. Click [Edit] to open the Investment Edit view to update details.

Create opportunities from your interaction with the buyer.

  1. [View Summary]  -  opens the highlighted opportunity in the Opportunity Summary view.
  2. [Create New] to open the New Contact window to add a new opportunity directly.
  3. [Edit] to open and edit an existing highlighted opportunity directly within the Investor Edit view. The same can be achieved by clicking the small arrow to the left of the opportunity or double clicking the opportunity.
  4. [Delete]  -  delete existing highlighted opportunity.
  5. [Refresh]  -  refresh the view after any changes.

With a syndicate investment there may be third parties who will be involved and the Contacts section allows for their details to be recorded in one place and to be associated with the current investment.

  1. [Create New]  -  opens the New Contact window
  2. [Edit]  -  open and edit an existing highlighted contact.
  3. [Delete]  -  delete existing highlighted contact.
  4. [Refresh]  -  refresh the view after any changes.

Documents - displays all property related document attached to the investment. Use the search fields to search for specific documents by file name and or filter by tags. Sort by File name or upload date. Upload new documents.

To add documents to the work there are three options:-

  1. [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
  2. Drag and drop into the marked box or...
  3. Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.

To search within the attached documents:-

  1. Search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  2. Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
  3. [Search] - to search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  4. [Clear Search] - to clear the search criteria, text and tags.
  5. Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
