The Investment Edit view allows you to edit and add all pertinent information relating to the selected investment and the investors details.
- Click {Fund Management} > {Investments} to view the Investment list view. Refer Explore the Investments view
- Use the Search Panel to filter and / or search for the investor.
- Click [Edit] to open the Investment Edit view.
Account Edit view - header and menus are found on the left side of your work area.
- [Actions] - click to show options
- {Investor} - {Send Opt-in}, {Client portal Access}
- {Create New} - Contact Log or New Document from a template.
- {Goto Fund} - Open the associated fund.
- {View Transactions} - go to transactions
- {Statement} - view or send statement to the client.
- {View Logs} - view linked external portal activity logs.
- To proceed to the Summary view you click the [Summary] button.
- Select the investment opportunity status - Hot, Warm or Cold. Use for ease of management of your work.

Investment Details - displays all pertinent details of the investment.
- Click pen icon to open the Syndicate Edit view to update details.
- Enter and update as required the details of the investment.
- {Has the investment been confirmed?} - tick if investor has been accepted and confirmed.
- {Has the investment been paid out?} - click if the syndicate has been wound up.
- {Is this record marked as deleted?} - click if you wish to archive the record.
- Click [Save] to save all changes to the details.
Investor - displays current information about the Investor and relationships to the business. Depending on your user login credentials the tabs in the heading may or may not be visible.
- To change account details click the pen icon to open the Accounts Edit view.
- Use the filters to view the account history related to the current work activity.
- The investor editing features are available to those with the correct user entitlements. Refer to your subscription administrator for details.
Create opportunities from your interaction with the buyer.
- [View Summary] - opens the highlighted opportunity in the Opportunity Summary view.
- [Create New] to open the New Contact window to add a new opportunity directly.
- [Edit] to open and edit an existing highlighted opportunity directly within the Investor Edit view. The same can be achieved by clicking the small arrow to the left of the opportunity or double clicking the opportunity.
- [Delete] - delete existing highlighted opportunity.
- [Refresh] - refresh the view after any changes.
With a syndicate investment there may be third parties who will be involved and the Contacts section allows for their details to be recorded in one place and to be associated with the current investment.
- [Create New] - opens the New Contact window
- [Edit] - open and edit an existing highlighted contact.
- [Delete] - delete existing highlighted contact.
- [Refresh] - refresh the view after any changes.
Work Allocations
Work Allocation can be used to managed and track work for the client account that is shared between more than one employee or partner.
- [Create New] - opens a new line entry.
- Entry the employee details as required.
- Click [Save]
To add documents to the work there are four options:-
- [Attach Document(s) from DMS] - to open a new window to browse the DMS.
- [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
- Drag and drop into the marked box or...
- Click on [External Upload Setup - Status: Disabled] - to open the External Upload Setup window. Note that a red icon indicates the link is disabled and a green icon indicates the link is enabled. See DMS External Upload
To search within the attached documents:-
- Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.
- Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
- [Filter by Externally Uploaded Documents] - to search within documents that have been attached by the client.
- [Search] and [Clear Search] - to search and clear the search criteria, text and tags.
- Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
