How to use templates in Contact Logs

When you create a Contact Log there is are options to retrieve a previously saved template (including attachments if used) or save a new one for later use.

The two buttons are [Load Template] or [Save Template] below the Note section of the Contact Log.

Templates are personal, so only you will be able to see your saved templates. All templates will be visible across all of your Profiles, so no need to switch profiles to find your required template.

Load a Contact Log Template

  1. Click [Load Templates] to open a list of your previously saved templates.
  1. Highlight the selected template
  2. Click [Select] to add the template and return to the New Contact Log window.
  1. Your template will have been loaded and selected, a template can be modified to suit the new communication.

Continue to complete the contact log, selecting whether to send and an email and continuing the process by clicking [Next]

Using templates shall allow you to increase the speed and efficiency of Contact Log Entry & Email communication instigation.
