Understanding Email Integration
CompleteEmpire allows you to use a unique CREF code that can be applied to any email and then via a simple process downloaded and integrated into our Contact Log system to ensure full visibility of your communications and an important part of meeting your compliance requirements. Contact Logs and Emails are integrated with the CompleteEmpire eco system. Refer to What is a Contact Log
You have the option to attach an email to either the General Account of the client or to the Specific Work area depending on the relevance of the communication.
For example, a general contact log may be a casual call from or to the client requiring an email response, and is just to be recorded on the General Account for information purposes.
A Contact Log for specific tasks/enquiries or work for the client can be assigned to that specific area, for example seeking additional information on a particular property sale enquiry

CompleteEmpire provides the capability to link and record your emails through our contact log system, providing quick and seamless updating of client dealings.
You have the flexibility of choice in how you manage your emails and connections, either through CompleteEmpire or from Outlook by including a unique tag code created in our Contact Log system.
The unique identifier, the CREF code, will automatically assign your communication to the relevant Account Contact Log email chain in CompleteEmpire.
This means that once an email trail or thread has the CREF included then all past emails and subsequent emails will be linked and accessible in CompleteEmpire and will meet your filing and compliance needs.
Please take note:
- Currently importing and synchronising emails between Outlook and CompleteEmpire is a manual process.
- Only emails that include the CREF in the subject line will be imported.
- Emails imported into CompleteEmpire will not include attachments. They will need to be imported to the DMS as required independently into the correct work area within the DMS.
- Messages that originate from Quick Compose feature from within the CompleteEmpire Work Area Header currently cannot include web links and attachments.
- Messages sent from Contact Logs and Messages module as emails can include web links and attachments.
