Explore the Venues View

Create a venue before creating an event. The venue can be a physical place, office, meeting room, hotel or exhibition centre or it can be an event held or hosted virtually.

Venue View

  1. Connect>Events>Venues  -  opens the Venues view.
  2. Search venues by name.
  3. Filter by Any, Virtual or In Person.
  4. Venues View Quick action button group.
  5. Venues Grid View  -  List of venues that can be sorted by column header.

Venue view quick action button group

  1. [Create New]  -  create a new venue, opens a new venue window.
  2. [Edit]  -  edit venue details.
  3. [Delete]  -  delete the selected venue.
  4. [Refresh]  -  refresh the grid view.

Venue Detail View

  1. Name  -  each venue requires a unique and relevant name.
  2. Venue Details  -  complete fields as necessary.
  3. Will the associated event(s) be hosted virtually?  -  tick to confirm if the event is to be held online.
  4. [Save]  - click to save your venue details.

Time Zone  -  it is essential that the venue time zone is correctly assigned to match the event location. This ensures the event time is correct indicated and all related event messages and details are correctly timestamped within CompleteEmpire.
