Add and edit Event Sessions

From the Events view there are two methods of opening an event to edit it. CompleteEmpire allows you to view and edit individual events within the grid.

Click once to select the event and click the pen icon [Edit] to open at the Details tab and edit the event within the grid or click once to select and click the small down arrow on the left to open at the Sessions tab.

You can use the search bar criteria to locate an event.

The view consists of a number of tabs that enable editing, selection and creation options.

Events Grid View

  1. Click [Edit] to open the Event in a tabbed view with the details tab active.

OR

  1. Click {Arrow icon} to open the Event in a tabbed view with the sessions tab active.

Events View Sessions Tab

  1. Click Sessions tab
  2. Click [Create New] to create a new session for the event.
  3. Choose a date.
  4. Choose a time.
  5. Timezone. (Defaults to your current timezone but can be edited later once the session has been created and saved.
  6. Select or type a duration for the session.
  7. Select or type the seating/venue capacity for the event
  8. Click [Save] to save your session details..  

Edit a session.

  1. Click Sessions tab
  2. Click [Edit] to edit the session.

All fields are editable including Timezone.

  1. Choose a timezone if necessary.
  2. Click [Save] to save your edited session details.
  3. Click [Delete] to delete the the session.

Time Zone  -  it is essential that the venue timezone is correctly assigned to match the event location. This ensures the event time is correct indicated and all related event messages and details are correctly timestamped within CompleteEmpire.
