Exploring Accounts - Summary View

The Accounts view is the most powerful tool within CompleteEmpire. It enables you to quickly and, in one place, review your business's current, past, and future activities and relationships with your clients and associates. It is essential that you capture and add all key details as soon as possible after a new account is created.

Ordinarily when a new account is created you are asked if you wish to add more details by proceeding to the edit page and this is a prompt for you to take the opportunity to gather and add that information.

As dealings progress with the account the opportunity should also be taken to add additional details as they become available to you.

Account Summary View

  1. Click {Accounts} to open the Accounts view.
  2. Click [Edit] to proceed to the Edit view.
  3. Work area  -when a new account is created only the most basic information is added.
  4. Work Area Summary Header  -  summarises the account name, ID#, type, status and activities.
  5. Work Area Menu  -  bookmarks/shortcuts to the relevant area of interest within the work area.

Bookmarks Brief Description
Details The primary account details. 
Address History Record of changes to the accounts addresses.
Owned Properties List of current and past properties owned by the account.
Linked Entities Create and add and any person or entity that has a controlling influence or access to the account. 
Relations Related accounts to this account  can include a variety of relationship types as required for your activity.
Documents Specific documents related to the account.

  1. Details  -  click to move focus to Details in the Work Area.
  2. Details panel  -  summarises the account details and shortcuts to the account history by category.  Click the [Edit] pen icon to open in the Edit view to amend and add further details to the account.

Expand or collapse content Address History
  1. Address History - click to move focus to Address History in the Work Area.
  2. Address History panel  -  lists past address for the acount holder. Click the [Edit] pen icon to add or delete historical addresses.

Expand or collapse content Owned Properties
  1. Owned Properties  -  click to move focus to Owned Properties in the Work Area.
  2. Owned Properties  -  lists properties owned by the account holder. Click the [Edit] pen icon to add or delete properties.

  1. Linked Entities - click to move focus to Linked Entities in the Work Area.
  2. Linked Entities panel  -  use to add, edit and delete linked entities to the account. Linked Entity is any person or account that has a controlling influence or access to the entity.

  1. Relations - click to move focus to Relations in the Work Area.
  2. Details panel  -  Lists related parties to the account. Click the [Edit] pen icon to add or delete relations.

Refer to DMS - Introduction

To add documents to the work there are three options:-

  1. [Select files] to open a new file browser window to add external documents to to the work of the account. Or...
  2. Drag and drop into the marked box or...
  3. Search the DMS - enter at least 3 characters and filter using tags to locate your files and attach to the work for the account.

To search within the attached documents:-

  1. Search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  2. Filter using tags that have been added to the document attached to the work for the account
  3. [Search] - to search within documents that have been attached to the work for the account.
  4. [Clear Search] - to clear the search criteria, text and tags.
  5. Sort filtered results by file name or upload date.
