When you create a Contact Log there are options to retrieve a previously saved template (including attachments if used) or save a new one for later use.
The two buttons are [Load Template] or [Save Template] below the Note section of the Contact Log.
Templates are personal, so only you will be able to see your saved templates. All templates will be visible across all of your Profiles, so no need to switch profiles to find your required template.
Save a Contact Log Template
- Prepare your body text including any attachments or links.
- When satisfied with the formatting click [Save Templates] to open new entry field.
- In the {Template Name} field enter a new identifiable name for your template.
- Click [Save] to save your template. Proceed to complete the Contact Log as usual selecting he saved template if required. Refer How to use templates in Contact Logs
- To delete a saved template use the [Delete Template] bin icon
Continue to complete the contact log, selecting whether to send and an email and continuing the process by clicking [Next]
Using templates shall allow you to increase the speed and efficiency of Contact Log Entry & Email communication instigation.
