The article deals with the process of updating an account to reflect the current status of the client with regard to their relationship status and if they are deceased.
Points to consider
- Check the current relationships and if necessary remove in case of separation/divorce?
- Add notes to the Notes field to identify the change and date
- Check subscriptions and email notifications email addresses to ensure not joint/shared?
- Check and edit linked entities if appropriate?
- Check linked entities email addresses? Ie are they correct addresses to the person in control of the entity.
Death
- Add notes to account that the named client is deceased.
- Set up a new client account if the deceased has a partner who will continue as a active client linked via 'relations' to the original joint account.
- Remove subscriptions if linked to the deceased email account.
- Add to relations the appropriate person handling estate i.e. solicitor/ executor etc?
